About The Haven
The Haven is a Boutique Wellness Spa in the heart of downtown Airdrie. Offering Holistic Massage and Aesthetic Treatments, we have a small family of practitioners who care deeply about our clients and are passionate about helping them achieve their health, wellness and beauty goals.​​
The Haven offers a place of rest and respite from your busy, hectic life. It's original location opened its doors to the Cochrane, Alberta community in 2021. The Haven was born out of a passion for wellness, natural beauty and helping others. After quickly becoming the town's favorite place for Esthetics and Massage treatments, Kristine (the owner) decided to open a second location in Airdrie.
Clients may expect the same level of excellence in care and attention that has earned The Haven a 5-Star rating on Google and numerous awards and nominations.​
Services at the spa are booked with your full time in session, intake and assessment are not deducted from your treatment time. Clients are encouraged to relax and take their time before and after treatment so we ask clients who are on a strict timeline to inform us upon arrival as we do not believe in rushing through appointments.
All Bodywork/Massage and Esthetics services begin with a complimentary foot soak and include hot towels and custom aromatherapy included free of charge. New clients leave with a sample of our house-made bath salts and a piece of chocolate. With the current economic climate in mind, The Haven offers Day of the Week and Seasonal Spa Promotions to assist clients in booking self care within their budget​​
The Haven uses all natural skin and body care products from Eminence Organic Skincare.
We use Vegan, 16-21 Free Nail Polish and do not offer Gel Polish. Our nail treatments are for natural nails only

Therapeutic Bodywork and Relaxation Massage
Our Massage and Bodywork Services are designed to provide relaxation, stress relief and pain management to assist you in leading a healthy life.
The Haven's most popular treatment, the Signature Flow Massage, fuses alignment-based therapeutic massage techniques with holistic modalities to provide pain relief, relaxation and structural alignment (Non-RMT).
The Spa Bodywork menu also includes services such as Ayurvedic Scalp and Body Massage, Scrubs/Wraps, Hot Stone Massage and more. Add-ons are available to enhance your spa experience.
Registered Massage Therapy
RMT Treatments are for prevention and treatment of physical disfunction and injury through the use of evidence-based manual therapy. Session includes Medical history review, assessment, manual therapy & home care
As RMT treatments are covered by insurance we do not offer discounts on RMT Massage unless you have a specific discount voucher
We do not direct bill. You will receive a receipt for insurance reimbursement
Spa Services
Holistic Organic Facials/Skin Treatments
Professional Facials are an important part of a self-care routine. They offer a deep cleanse and treat issues beyond what a home care routine can provide helping to calm redness and irritation, hyperpigmentation, signs of aging and troublesome acne or congested pores. Facial Massage improves circulation and increases absorption of skincare products, promotes collagen production and stimulates cellular turnover. Professional-grade peels and masques gently treat the skin and in some cases provide instantly visible results.​

The Haven offers facial treatments with Eminence Organic Skincare, a Multiple-Award winning line of Organic Skincare Products that give you a healthy radiant glow while nourishing your skin.​​

You will receive product samples and home-care recommendations after your treatment. Clients who book facials at The Haven receive 5% off Eminence Purchases.

We also offer Back Facials to assist you in taking care of the hard to reach areas of your back. Perfect prior to an evening in a backless dress or in the summer months.
Holistic Nail Care
Pedicures are important for foot health. They increase circulation, reduce swelling in the feet and ankles, moisturize dry skin and remove overgrown cuticles and callouses that can lead to foot health issues. Regular treatments help detect foot issues before they cause further problems.

Pedicures include a foot soak, nail trimming/shaping, cuticle and callous care (we do not use blades), an all natural foot and leg scrub, a rejuvenating leg and foot massage and natural polish. ​

Our Haven Pedicure is 90 Minutes and is perfect for those with foot issues such as Diabetes as our Esthetics Professionals are well educated in Foot health issues and we do a thorough intake prior to your appointment.
We also offer shorter pedicures for those who regularly maintain their feet and more Deluxe treatments that include Warm Paraffin for those wishing extra pampering.

*Note: The Haven does not offer Gel or Shellac Polish as we do not like what it does to the health of the nails. We use a cruelty free nail care line of polishes formulated without DBP, toluene, formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin.​
Reflexology
Reflexology is the application of pressure to the reflexes of the feet that map to different body parts, organs and glands. It can relieve tension, improve circulation and optimize body function.
Bring your body back to homeostasis with this relaxing treatment that assists your body's natural healing ability.
Treatment includes hot towels, custom aromatherapy and foot massage to finish the session.

Reflexology is covered by most insurance plans in the Health Spending and Wellness Account Categories. Krysta (our Reflexologist) is a member in good standing of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada
Sound Healing
Using tuning forks for healing is a very gentle yet powerful modality to treat the mind, body, and soul, helping to restore inner balance and health. It works with the nervous system, the tissues, and the more subtle energies of the body, being deeply relaxing, and filled with long-term benefits such as tuning the body’s natural cycle or circadian rhythm while stimulating homeostasis, which helps bring the body back to its natural state of balance.
Tuning forks can also be integrated into other healing modalities such as massage, facials and Reflexology, amplifying the effects of the treatments.​​​
